These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of The Admission Council website and, where applicable, our education counselling and admissions support services. A separate written service agreement may set additional terms for a specific service.

1. About TAC

“The Admission Council,” “TAC,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to The Admission Council Group Ltd., operating as The Admission Council, in Ontario, Canada. “You” means a visitor to our website or a person who requests or receives our services.

2. Our services

Depending on the service agreed with you in writing, TAC may provide education counselling and admissions support, including:

The scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees for a paid service will be described or confirmed in its written service agreement, quote, or invoice. TAC does not operate the educational institutions or programs discussed with you.

3. No guaranteed outcome

TAC does not guarantee admission, an offer, a scholarship, funding, employment, placement, licensing, a study permit, a visa, or any other outcome. Admissions and other decisions are made by the relevant institution, government authority, employer, or third party. Program availability, requirements, schedules, costs, and policies may change; confirm current details with the responsible provider before making a decision.

4. Immigration and legal matters

TAC provides education counselling and admissions-related support. These Terms do not include immigration or legal advice, immigration representation, or legal representation. If you need immigration or legal advice, you must obtain it from a professional authorized to provide that advice under applicable law, under a separate engagement with that professional.

5. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide complete and accurate information, give instructions and documents in time to meet relevant deadlines, review documents prepared for you, and notify TAC if your contact details or circumstances change. You remain responsible for checking the accuracy of your personal information and for decisions you make about a program, institution, or application.

6. Fees, cancellations, and refunds

Fees and payment schedules for TAC services will be stated in the applicable written service agreement, quote, or invoice. Any service-specific cancellation or refund terms will be provided with those terms. Your rights under applicable consumer-protection laws are not limited by this page. Fees charged by an institution, government body, testing provider, or other third party are subject to that provider’s own rules; TAC cannot promise a refund of fees collected by another organization.

7. Third-party services and information

Our website may link to third-party websites, institutions, payment services, or other providers. Their services, content, decisions, terms, and privacy practices are controlled by them. TAC is not responsible for their availability, actions, delays, or decisions. Check the relevant provider’s information and terms directly.

8. Communications

If you contact TAC or submit an enquiry, we may contact you using the details you provide to respond to your request and coordinate services you ask us to provide. Marketing messages will be sent only as permitted by law; you may withdraw consent to marketing messages at any time.

9. Website information and availability

Website information is general and may be updated or removed without notice. It is not legal, immigration, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice. We aim to keep the website available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every item of information is complete or current.
